Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 May 2026
Mirror - Cam is licensed to you under the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”), which is the agreement App Store apps are delivered under by default.
The Apple Standard EULA covers everything the App Store requires:
- The licence Apple grants you to use the app on your devices
- Usage restrictions
- Maintenance and support responsibilities
- Third-party beneficiaries
- Warranty and liability
- Export, government, and dispute-resolution provisions
In addition to (and consistent with) the Apple Standard EULA, the following terms apply specifically to Mirror - Cam:
1. About the app
Mirror - Cam is a macOS menu-bar utility that shows a live webcam preview and offers paid premium features under the “Mirror - Cam Plus” banner. The app runs entirely on-device and does not transmit your camera or microphone data anywhere.
2. In-app purchases
- Mirror - Cam Plus — Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks every premium feature permanently for the Apple ID that made the purchase.
- Mirror - Cam Plus — Monthly is an auto-renewable subscription. The first 14 days are a free trial; after the trial it renews monthly at the price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase. You can cancel any time from your Apple ID subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds — refund requests must be filed with Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restoring a previous purchase on a new Mac is done from the in-app paywall’s Restore Purchases button while signed into the original Apple ID.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
- Use the app to violate any applicable law or third-party rights (e.g. filming people without their consent in jurisdictions that require it).
4. Trial windows
Non-subscribed users can preview the Detach Window feature for 30 seconds on first use and 10 seconds on every subsequent use, after which the floating window closes and the paywall opens. This is a limited trial of a paid feature and does not constitute a continuing licence to the feature.
5. Privacy
Your use of the app is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms by reference.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when we do; continued use of the app after the update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
